Beyond the Horizon: Exploration, Discovery and Adventure

Learners explore how people have mapped the world, navigated across oceans and continents, investigated unfamiliar environments, and expanded knowledge through discovery. Through investigations into cartography, navigation systems, ocean currents, mathematics, survival science, cultural encounters, exploration careers, and modern discovery, learners develop an understanding of how exploration continues to influence the way people understand Earth and beyond.

Each Collection is designed using inclusive learning principles, supporting diverse learning needs through self-paced exploration, clear instructions, flexible activity options, visual supports, and multiple ways for Pathfinders to engage, create, build, and reflect.

A Curiosity Collection includes multiple Pathfinder activities completed over several sessions.
