This Curiosity Collection extends the Witches, Beliefs & the Supernatural Snapshot by moving into deeper investigation of how beliefs, fear, and social influence have shaped human behaviour throughout history.
Learners explore why people sometimes believe ideas without evidence, how fear and groupthink can affect communities, and how authority, laws, and cultural traditions influence what people accept as true. They investigate real historical events such as witch trials, compare past beliefs with modern explanations, and examine how knowledge changes over time.
The collection is designed using inclusive learning principles, supporting diverse learning needs through self-paced exploration, clear instructions, flexible activity options, visual supports, and multiple ways for Pathfinders to engage, create, build, and reflect.
A Curiosity Collection includes multiple Pathfinder activities completed over several sessions.
Each activity introduces new ideas through exploration, investigation, and creative design, leading to a final project where Pathfinders combine what they have learned.
